Be Strategik
Knowledge to change the game.
The future you imagine for your family and for yourself can be created…yet, you have to be strategik!
Mastering your personal finances takes time to acquire the necessary knowledge to make sound decisions. If you are like the majority of Americans you feel like you are playing a financial game without knowing the rules. They taught you trigonometry, yet very little about personal finances in high school.
Perhaps you have made some good choices such as investing in a 401(k), or finally starting a savings account or perhaps you feel overwhelmed with debt despite your six-figure salary. You are not alone, yet with some work, you can begin to increase your net worth and spend less time obsessing about your finances.
Globally, our nation ranks 14th for basic financial acumen and our debt levels reflect this! African Americans and women have acquired less wealth than their peers and many Americans can’t imagine a life without tremendous financial pressures. The result has been unbearable personal and student loan debt, inadequate savings, and lower than average participation in the wealth available via the stock market.
Take steps to improve your knowledge base. We offer phenomenal investing courses! Consider joining our Zoom classes which is a supportive environment and we encourage participation. We also want to share other low-cost/free resources that will help you on your journey, so please visit the resource page. We can close the wealth gap by being strategik (we know how to spell the k is intentional…knowledge LOL.)
Take the first step in changing your financial future by taking a class, reading a book, or checking out some helpful online content. Be Strategik!
Black Americans are being left behind:
Average liquid assets and stock ownership among Black Americans, significantly lags behind that of their white counterparts.
To close the wealth gap, we have got to get into the game!
Women are too…
What are the barriers to investing for women? The most significant barrier is the pay gap - women typically make less and therefore have less to invest. “A typical, or median, woman working is paid 83 cents for every dollar a typical man is paid. However, the gender wage gap differs for women of different levels of education and for women of color.”
